Summary
ChromaSol does not collect, store off your device, or share any personal data. The app has no server, no user accounts, and never connects to the Internet.
What the app does with your photos
- It analyzes photos to recognize clothing colors and find the closest combination from Sanzo Wada's "Dictionary of Color Combinations".
- All analysis happens on your iPhone. No photo, and no part of a photo, ever leaves the device.
- It only accesses photos you pick with the picker or camera, or your library if you grant that permission. You can revoke it in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
- Results are stored in a local database inside the app and are deleted with the app.
Data we do not collect
No identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, location or contacts. No advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Optional diagnostics
In Settings > Export diagnostics you can generate a file with technical data (versions, timings and numbers; never photos). It is only created when you ask, and only reaches whomever you send it to.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from any user.
